Yvonne “Vonnie” Bond Hancock, 83, passed away January 2, 2023 at home with three daughters by her side shortly after the devastating news of her metastasized cancer.

Also known as the “Airport Lady” she co-managed and managed Fillmore Muni Airport for approximately 35 years.  She was known for her witty sense of humor, sarcasm, and fire cracker personality and the stories she shared with all who would listen. 

Yvonne is survived by her four daughters:  Teena Pritchard of Fillmore, UT; Christine Rasmussen of Fillmore, UT Cynthia Wiley of Camp Verte, AZ; Jodi Mansfield of Las Vegas, NV; two brothers: Ronald (Connie) Bond of Sandy, UT; Dale (Barbara) Bond of Delta, UT; 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren;  she is preceded in death by her parents Calvin LeRoy and Beryl Bond; sister Carol Bond; husbands Wallace Hancock and Kenneth Vernon Rasmussen.

Memorial service will be held at the Fillmore Municipal Airport Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 2:00 PM.  Online condolences can be offered at www.olpinstevensfuneralhome.com
