Vickie Lynn Taylor

November 4, 1955 — April 1, 2021

Delta, Utah – Vickie Lynn Taylor, age 65, passed away Thursday April 1st 2021 at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah, surrounded by her most treasured loved ones.  She was born November 4th 1955 in Provo, Utah to Darwin Wallace “Dee” Jensen and Petra Lucille Peterson.  She was the youngest of four children.  She married the love of her life for the last 20 years Travis Dee Taylor on May 7, 2019, they were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Payson Temple on January 19, 2021.

Her family lived in many different places, from: Spanish Fork, Garrison, Monroe, Delta, to Cameron Wisconsin.  Her mother passed away when she was 9 years old after a battle with Multiple Sclerosis.  Her father later married Lorraine Williams.  Growing up she loved riding her horse and her motorcycle.  She graduated from Delta High School in 1972.  She later married Joe Poulsen and had three children together: Jared, Yvette and Chris.  They later divorced and she married Brad Hardy.  They had one child together, Kellen.  They moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where she worked as an office and payroll manager for a top telemarking firm.

After some difficult trials in her life she moved back to the Delta area in 1994.  She then divorced and met Travis Taylor.  After a 20 year engagement she finally married her true love in 2019.  Vickie grew a true love and testimony of her belief in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints over the last few years.  She was baptized in 2019 and worked hard over the last year to prepare to go to the temple.  On Jan 19, 2021 her dreams came true, she was able to go to the Payson Temple and be sealed to her sweetheart Travis.  She served a calling as a primary teacher, something she absolutely loved.

Her family meant everything to her, especially the grandkids.  She formed some very special bonds with them.  Her family will miss her dearly, but finds comfort in knowing that through the atonement of Christ we will be together again one day.

She is survived by her husband Travis Taylor, Delta, Utah; her children: Jared (Beth) Poulsen, Delta, Utah; Yvette (Clint) Nielson, Delta, Utah; Chris Poulsen, Delta, Utah; Kellen (Tiffany) Hardy, Las Vegas, Nevada; Hadlei (Nick) Allen, Phoenix, Arizona; Sawyer Taylor, Alpine, Utah; 15 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Roger Jensen, Colleen Petroff, Margaret Diane Butler and Norma Jane Nichols.
