Venez Ann Johnson
Venez Ann Teeples Johnson was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great, Great Grandmother. She passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on the morning of August 17th in her daughter Brenda’s arms with her granddaughter Nycole near her side.
Venez was born November 22, 1928 to Arnold Sidney Teeples and Chloe McKee Teeples in Holden, Utah. She married her sweetheart and love of her life, William Clee Johnson on December 25, 1952 in Ely Nevada. They were later sealed in the Provo Temple for All Time and Eternity.
She grew up in Holden and graduated from Millard High School. She ran a small cafe in her hometown, worked for the ASCS office in Fillmore for twenty five years, and later was handpicked for a job in Washington DC for the United States Department of Agriculture. While working in DC, Venez received many accolades for her work as a software developer. She was a trail blazer in every aspect of her life.
A faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints, she had devout love for the Lord Jesus Christ, her Temple work, church callings, and the steadfastness and pure love she held for her family, whom she adored.
Her greatest service was to her loving family. She is survived by her daughter Brenda, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband and son, as well as her dear sister’s Wanda and Elma, and dear brothers Garth and Darrell.

I have fond memories of Venez when she worked in the ASCS office with Max. I remember Max tell that one time while he was gone the gals in the office decided to eat the candy bar in his desk but were disappointed to find out it was just an empty wrapper put there just for that purpose. Oh how disappointing! And he wasn't there to see it.
May fond memories fill your lives with the sweet times you have had with this very special lady. Love and best wishes to all of you.
