Linda Dimmick, 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 27th.
Linda was born on March 16th, 1945 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Lois Ione and Fancis Merlin Dimmick. She was raised in Navoto, California. Linda attended Brigham Young University where she met John Coyle Dey and the two were married in Los Angeles, California in 1964. Linda raised ten children in Orem, Utah before making Sanpete County her home for her remaining years. Anyone that had the privilege to meet Linda knew that her arms were always open and welcoming, and her heart knew no bounds. Linda dedicated her life to the support and care of others and made profound impacts on the lives of many. Throughout her life, even during the most difficult of times, her heart remained gentle and she continued to exude love, to nurture, and to offer respect and acceptance to all. Despite her vulnerabilities and heartbreak, her patience was unwavering, her heart always open and her light was never dimmed. We love you.
Linda is survived by her sisters: Sherri Dague and Sue Earp; Her Children are: Robert Dey, Ward Dey, Kyrbir (Robert)Dey, Ken Dey, Knykir(Nicole)Dey, Josh Dey, Maren Dey, Kristen Richter, Kiersten Dewey, Kari Dey; Also, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and countless others that have become family along the way.
Our family would like to thank the wonderful individuals with Beehive Homes Hospice care for their dedication and kindness to our Mother. We are eternally grateful.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM in the Fillmore City Cemetery.
