Liela Nielson Lovell

Leila Nielson Lovell, age 89, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born February 12, 1926 to Edgar & Twiss Roper Nielson. She married Owen Leoyd Lovell February 6, 1948 in the Manti Temple. He preceded her in death on May 29, 1993.

Leila graduated from Delta High School and was a member of the Lions Club. She served in various callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She especially loved her widows home evening group and enjoyed serving others.

Leila is survived by eight children: Lauralee (Craig) Brunson of Spanish Fork, UT; Stanton (Cindy) Lovell of Delta, UT; Mark (Rachel) Lovell of Aurora, UT; Nanette (Andy) Anderson of Tyler, TX; Vance (Marsha) Lovell of Delta, UT; Darla (Greg) Chappell of Oak City, UT; Garth (Taffy) Lovell of Pleasant Grove, UT; Mona (Doug) Wells of Hanksville, UT; 36 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; one brother: Delynn Nielson of Salt Lake City, UT. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and five siblings: Lorna, Ivan, Gordon, Ted & Cleo.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Delta 3rd and 4th ward building (197 South 300 West). Viewing will be held Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM both at the Delta 3rd and 4th ward building.
