Ellen Kaye Anderson Allred, age 67 passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 12, 2017 in Provo Utah. Ellen was born February 27, 1949 the oldest of 6 children born to Junius and ElDonna Anderson of Oak City, Utah. Ellen married Steve Allred on June 14, 1968 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Ellen was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served in multiple callings throughout her life. She was an accomplished pianist and shared her talents freely with all who asked. She loved all church hymns and primary songs. One of her greatest joys in life was her grandchildren and spending time with them. Ellen loved working in her yard. She loved Delta High School Athletics. She was employed by Workforce Services for over 20 years where she was an ally for many people.
Ellen is survived by: her husband Steve, children: Shenagh (Jody), Greg (Holly), Karalee (Jeff), Wade (Ruth), Shawn (Jesse) ,Mother in law Olive Allred, in laws Linda (Robert) Grygla, Howard (Vicki) Allred. Siblings: Kevin (Marva Jean), Mike (LeAnn), Leslie (Garth)Lake, Kelly (Leslie), Lynn (Rob) Jeffery; 16 Grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Preceded in death by her parents and one infant son Brenton.
A viewing will be held February 17, 2017 Friday evening from 6-8 at the Oak City LDS Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday February 18, 2017 at 11:00 am with a viewing prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 also at the Oak City LDS Chapel. Interment will be in the Oak City Cemetery under the care of Olpin Stevens Funeral Home. Online condolences can be offered at www.olpinstevensfuneralhome.com
