Dennis Lloyd Bowen

Dennis Lloyd Bowen 62 passed away peacefully in his sleep, next to the love of his life, at his home in Scipio, UT.  Dennis was born February 8 1957 to Dorothy Louise Schliep and Dale Lloyd Bowen, in Salt Lake City, UT.

November 28 1974, Dennis joined the United States Marine Corps and was discharged December 18 1978, he was then in the reserves and received an honorable discharge November 19 1980

Dennis’s life was about truck driving and farm life. During his driving days which he did until the day he passed he logged over 3 million miles and still helped with his farm and animals.

Dennis met the love of his life Peggy Ann Chester Bowen In April 2008. They married September 12 2010 in Leeds, UT.

Dennis is survived by his wife Peggy Ann Chester Bowen; Sister Dalene (Donley) Houchin; Children: Jolene Latimer, JR (Stephanie) Bowen, Daniel Bowen, Michael Anthony Bowen, Burl James Hunting, Brandalynn (Lorenzo) Martinez, Anna Michelle Slater, and Kacey Manhart (Danny Jones); Grandchildren:   Kayley, Kyle, Kaleb, Kodi, Korey, Latimer, Jimmy Ray, Adalye Teresa, William Robert Bowen, Daniel Bowen ll, Payton Manhart Bowen, Colton, Maci Hunting, Elijah Brose, Jackson, Gardner, Kylee, Telicia (Skyler) Mickelsen, Anyssalynn, and Jace Zermeno.

A celebration of life will be held in honor of Dennis on February 1, 2020 1:00 PM at the Scipio Utah Community Center.
