Delta, Utah -  Deila Bond,66,  passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 at her home in Delta, UT.  Deila was born May 12, 1950 in Delta, UT to James Nathen Taylor & Gladyse Peterson Taylor.  She married Dale Patrick Bond January 3, 1968 in Delta, UT.

Deila worked at the Rancher Café for many years with her mother Gladyse, she worked at IPSC for 32 years and loved her job and most of the people.  She loved to make plastic canvas notebooks with American flag on both sides, and safety pins with red white and blue beads on them.  She gave away hundreds of both.  She also loved going to the car show with her 67 GTO convertible and the good times she had.  

She is survived by her husband and best friend Dale P. Bond; daughters: Lisa (Randy), Penny Jo (and best friend Smokey Joe), Michelle (Mike) Goff; son, Patrick (Rachel); brother, Nate (Sherry) Taylor; Alan Taylor; half-brother Ray & half-sister Mattie; 9 grandkids, 17 great-grandkids.  Preceded in death by her father James & mother Gladyse; step father Alvin Stang; brother Kenny Taylor; sister-in-law Diane & grandson Jacob.

 

At Deila request no funeral services will be held.  There will be a viewing Friday, June 10, 2016 from 3:00 to 4:00 pm at Olpin Stevens Funeral Home, Delta, UT (95 S White Sage Ave Ste B) Interment will be at the Delta City Cemetery following the Viewing.  Online Condolences can be offered at www.olpinstevensfuneralhome.com.
