West Haven, UT – Deena Blas, 53, passed away November 14th in the comfort of family. She was born June 5, 1970, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Dale A. and Linda Hatton Boothe. She was married to Scott Vincenti Blas, April 17, 1992, in the Manti, Utah Temple.
Deena was raised in Alpine, Utah and attended American Heritage School, American Fork High and went on to study at Ricks College. Deena’s talent on the violin was remarkable and beautiful. From a young age Deena put in countless hours practicing, performing, and teaching violin lessons. She was also very gifted in home décor, scrapbooking and baking/cooking. Deena loved quality time with her family. Her love for the Savior and His Plan of Happiness was so strong that she fought every day for her family and the chance to be with them forever. She always thought of others and wanted to do all she could to support and love those around her.
Deena is survived by her four daughters: Whitney Thurgood (Adam), Sydney Blas, Tiffaney Blas and Kalani Blas. Her grandson Beckett Thurgood. Her brothers and sisters: Natalie Carlton (Jason), Gayle Frost (Allen), Kendall Boothe (Annette) and Christian Boothe (Mindie) and her mother Linda Hatton Boothe. Deena is proceeded in death by her father Dale A Boothe and her husband Scott Vincenti Blas.
