Dana June Dewey

Dana June Dewey, 67, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015 in Nephi, Utah. She was born March 4, 1948 in Norman, Oklahoma to Dan & June Mize Hook. She marred Robert Dewey in Ventura, California.

Dana attended Faith Christensen Fellowship in Delta, Ut when her health allowed her to. Dana drove truck with her husband, "Bob" for several years but her real passion was being with her family and spending time with them; her home was a our meeting place, she was precious to all of us. We love her dearly and are very proud of her.

Dana is survived by her husband Robert; children: Gary (Susie) Spell of Bakersfield, CA; Ken (Carla) Spell of Saratoga Springs, UT; Julie "Gail" Hare of Meadow, UT; step-children: Janelle (Jim) Keys of Grass Valley, CA; Mindy Wiidena of Ricklin, CA; mother: June Hook of Fillmore, UT; brothers: Dennis Hook of Simi Valley, CA; Ken (Linda) Hook of Salem, Oregon; eight grandchildren: Brittney (Brian ),Brian, Zack, Stephanie, Jake, Michael, Even, Jade, Max, & Abby; five great grandchildren: Izzabella, Emilio, Myah, Paisley. & Saige. Preceded in death by her father: Daniel Moreland Hook and sister: Donna Day.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Olpin Stevens Funeral Home in Fillmore, UT. The viewing will be held prior to the funeral from 12:30 to 1:30 pm. Interment will be at the Fillmore City Cemetery. Online condolences can be offered at www.olpinstevensfuneralhome.com.
