Alice Jane Penney Carroll

Alice Jane Penney Carroll, 91, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2019 in Kanosh, Utah.  She was born December 31, 1927 in Kanosh, Utah to Theodore & Sylvia Paxton Penney.  Alice was married to Edward DuWayne Carroll on May 10, 1947 (72 years of marriage) in Kanosh, Utah.

Alice graduated from Millard High School.  She spent many years in Long Beach, California before moving back to Kanosh seventeen years ago.  Alice enjoyed camping, playing cards, and traveling with friends.  Alice joined her husband as a licensed truck driver and together they traveled the country.

Alice is survived by her husband Edward DuWayne Carroll; three children:  Penne Carroll Lavery of Long Beach, California; Susan Carroll Ballesty of Kanosh, Utah; Patricia Carroll Romo of Rancho Santa Margarita, California; one brother Richard Penney; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.   She is preceded in death by her daughter Sherill Carroll Mercier; son:  Edward Theodore Carroll; brothers:  Viron, Fred, Reid, and Duane.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Kanosh Ward Chapel.  A viewing will be held prior to the funeral from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the Kanosh Ward Chapel.  Interment will be at the Kanosh Town Cemetery under the care of Olpin Stevens Funeral Home.  Online condolences can be offered at www.olpinstevensfuneralhome.com.
